So in this guide, we will be showing you how to use the Wondershare MobileTrans app to transfer messages from iPhone to Android devices. But if for some reason, this app is not able to get your work done, you can look at the alternate method that we have shared as well.
Using Third-Party Software
STEP 1: First of all, you will have to download the Wondershare MobileTrans software for your PC. Windows | MacOS
STEP 2: Once downloaded, launch the setup for the software and follow the instructions given to complete the installation.
STEP 3: After that, you need to connect both your Android device and your iPhone to your computer.
STEP 4: Now launch the tool and click on the Transfer button under the phone transfer section.
STEP 5: In this circumstance, you are transferring data from iPhone to an Android device, so you have to select iPhone as the source of the data and the Android device as the destination.
STEP 6: Under the Content to copy section, you need to select Text messages and after that, click on the Start button to initiate the process. You may select something other than text messages as well if you want more of your data to be transferred.

This method will be utilizing the iCloud backup file and then use a third-party Android app to transfer the messages to an Android phone.
STEP 1: First of all, you need to connect your iPhone to your Windows PC or Mac with iTunes already installed.
STEP 2: Now head over to the Backup section and select the option that backs up files to the PC.
STEP 3: In addition to that, you also need to check that the backup files are not encrypted. You can do this by unchecking the Encrypt local backup option.
STEP 4: Once through the above step, click on the Backup Now button. When the backup file is completed, you can access the backup file through the location given:

STEP 6: Now you need to transfer this file to your Android device. After that, you need to download and install the iSMS2droid app from the Google Play store on your Android device.
STEP 7: Now launch the installed application on your Android device and select the import messages option. For the instance, you will have to use this app as your default messaging application.
STEP 8: Now search for the backup file that you downloaded in the previous steps. Select the file and tap on the Import All button.
STEP 9: Now the process will begin. Once the process is completed after a few minutes, then you shall revert back to using your default messaging app.
