Steps to Root Xperia Z3/Z2 on Android 5.0.2 Stock Build 23.1.A.28:
1:- First, extract root package (XperiaRoot_ALP.zip) that you’ve already downloaded from the above link. You’ll get the extracted files in a folder named XperiaRoot.
2:- Open the folder and the following files will appear:
- Busybox.apk
- Recovery.apk
- Root.apk
- SuperSU.apk
3:- Next, copy the files to the root folder of your SD card on the phone.
4:- Navigate the Settings > Securities and check Unknown sources.
5:- Install Root.apk.
6:- Open Root app after installation, tap on the Root button and wait for the process to finish successfully.
7:- Now install Busybox.apk and Recovery.apk as well.
8:- Open the installed Recovery app and tap on Install Recovery
9:- Next, turn the device OFF in order to boot into Recovery mode. Then press the Power button followed by the Volume Up or Down button a few times.
10:- Once the Xperia Z3/Z2 is in Recovery, select Install and locate the SuperSU zip
10:- Finally, restart the device and find the SuperSU in the App drawer.
