Steps to Root Moto G (2015) on Android 5.1 Lollipop using SuperSU:
1:- First, download the SuperSU Root (UPDATE-SuperSU-v2.49.zip) on the desktop of your PC for Moto G (2015).
2:- Now, plug the Moto G (2015) to PC using its USB data cable.
3:- Transfer the UPDATE-SuperSU-v2.49.zip file that you have already downloaded, to the root folder of your SD card on the Moto G 2015.
4:- Disconnect the USB cable and switch OFF the Moto G to boot into Recovery Mode.
5:- Switch ON the device by pressing and holding Volume Up + Power keys at the same time.
6:- While the phone is in the Recovery Mode, navigate to “flash zip from SD card” and select it using Power button. Press the Power button again and select “choose zip from sdcard”. Locate the Update-SuperSU-v2.49.zip file using Volume buttons and select it with Power button and begin the installation process.
7:- Once the installation is finished successfully, navigate to the main menu of recovery and reboot the device by selecting “reboot system now“.
