You can easily root Samsung Galaxy A8 running on the latest Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow firmware now. This guide can be used to root three variants of the Galaxy A8 (A800F, A800I and A800S) that has the Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow installed. 1:- Download CF-Auto-Root package for Galaxy A8 from the above link on the desktop of your PC.
2:- Extract the downloaded Galaxy A8’s rooting file to get tar.md5 file.
3:- Run Odin flashing tool on your Windows-based PC as an Administrator.
4:- Connect your Galaxy A8 with PC using its USB data cable.
5:- Turn OFF the phone in order to boot into Download Mode.
6:- Turn ON the Galaxy A8 while pressing and holding Home + Volume Down + Power buttons at the same time to boot into Download Mode.
7:- In Odin, click on the AP button and locate the CF-Auto Root file that you have already extracted on the desktop of your PC.
8:- Begin the installation process by clicking on the Start button in Odin. Wait for the process to be finished successfully. Once the flashing process is completed, a green message “PASS” will be appeared on the screen.
