STEP 1: Head over to the Settings app on your Nothing Phone 1.

STEP 2: Now scroll down and enter the System section. 

STEP 3: Then select Reset options.

STEP 4: Select Erase all data (factory reset).

STEP 5: Now tap on Erase all data. If you have set a lock screen password, you will be asked to enter it.

With this, the factory reset process will be initiated. Wait for a couple of minutes until it is completed. Once it is done, you will have to set up your device from scratch.

How to Hard Reset Nothing Phone 1

If you just want to reset your phone to fix some software issues, then it is recommended that you try the hard reset method. If you just need to fix software issues, you should not opt for the factory reset option. What is the difference between a factory reset and a hard reset? Well, the difference is that Hard resetting your device does not remove any data. Follow the given steps to hard reset your device:

STEP 1: First, press and hold the Power and Volume up buttons together until you see the boot menu. Select Power off.

STEP 2: Now, boot into Recovery mode by pressing and holding the Power and Volume up buttons together until you see the boot logo. 

STEP 3: After that, navigate to the Wipe data/factory reset option by using the Volume buttons and select it by pressing the Power button.  

STEP 4: Once done, navigate to Factory data reset and select it.

STEP 5: Once the process has been completed, proceed to the Reboot system now option and select it.
