OnePlus has already started the development of it’s Android 13 skin through Developer previews, but these are for their flagship devices.

Another issue that has been addressed by the update is the touch sound glitch which was occasionally faced by users. Apart from that, the security patch was upgraded to April 2022.

The users that are already enrolled into the beta program will simply receive the OxygenOS 12 open beta 3 for OnePlus Nord as an OTA update if they are stock unrooted.
If the users are rooted, they will receive it as a complete update. But if someone is not already using the beta software, that user will have to manually flash the ROM.

If you are installing the Open Beta over a stable firmware, it is advised that you take a complete backup of your device. This does not erase your data, but you should still take a backup to be on the safe side. If you want to go back to the stable firmware, you can install the rollback package.
