In this guide, we will be talking about the One UI 4.1 for Galaxy M62 based on Android 12. Over the past few months, Samsung has been rolling out One UI 4 updates based on Android 12 for many of it’s devices.

Now it is the turn of the Samsung Galaxy M62 to receive the update and the update One UI 4.1 for Galaxy M62 is now being rolled out by Samsung in some of the countries.

The update bringing One UI 4.1 for Galaxy M52 is coming out with the firmware version M625FXXU2BVC3 and the countries in which the update is being rolled out to devices include Indonesia, Saudi Arabia, UAE and Brazil.

The update also brings with itself the March 2022 security patch along with various bug fixes, improved stability and better device performance.

So if you own and use a Samsung Galaxy M62 and you live in one of the mentioned above, you can manually check if your device has received the update or not, by going to Settings > Software update > Tap on Download and Install.

The One UI 4.1 update for Samsung Galaxy M62 brings in a lot of visual improvements with a new UI design. It introduces Color Palette, the brightness and volume bars now have increased width and some improvements are seen over the old Dark mode and Always on display.

Apart from this, newer widgets have also been brought in for the home screen and the lock screen with a new UI for the widget selection. Further, Samsung has also done some work on it’s stock applications. We have provided brief descriptions on some of the updates and features below.

Camera App: The stock camera app for One UI is now much cleaner and minimal. The delay which was previously encountered between pressing the shutter button and the video recording being started is now reduced.

Now the video recording starts as soon as you tap on the shutter button. Apart from this, the camera is now capable of shooting portrait images of pet animals as well.

Gallery App: The Samsung stock Gallery app now has two new features, Shadow eraser and Reflection eraser which help in editing pictures. Further, the application now forms better stories from your memories and now comes with further classification options for your albums.

Now you can also edit information of videos and images, such as location, time and date. In addition to that, the photo editor also allows you to edit stickers onto your images and paste one image on another and make video collages as well.

Improved Privacy and Security: The privacy and security for the devices have also been increased through the Privacy Dashboard. This includes indicators for camera and microphone usage and quick toggles for various settings as well.

You are also notified when any application access data on from your clipboard and instead of using accurate locations, you can use approximate locations for applications.

Keyboard: The Samsung One UI 4 Keyboard also comes in with a lot of new features as well. These features include language suggestions from Grammarly, emoji pairs, newer input layouts and stickers. You can add more gifs and personalized stickers using AR zone as well.

Other: There were some minor improvements for Bixby, Bixby routines, Samsung Internet, Calendar, Device Care, Picture-in-Picture mode and eye comfort. Some improvements to the sharing menu include adjustable order of files, easier navigation and sharing suggestions.
