Samsung has started to roll out the One UI 4.1.1 update for Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 (F916BXXU2HVHA) to users in Germany. At the moment of writing, the update is available for the global model (SM-F916B) and will soon be rolled out to devices in other regions as well.

According to the changelog provided on the official website, the update will be bringing a new Taskbar, multitasking gestures and the first-party applications have been optimized for use on large-screen devices.
Also, the update comes with the new Optical Character Recognition (OCR) feature that Samsung introduced with the Galaxy Z Fold 4, custom call backgrounds for saved contacts and advanced search support for the My Files application. The Android security patch for September 2022 is also a part of the update.
If you have an eligible device and you still have not received the One UI 4.1.1 on your phone, then you should check manually for the update by going to the Software update section in the Settings app of the device.
