How to Install One UI 2.1 Custom ROM on Samsung Galaxy S9, Galaxy S9+ and Note 9

Follow the given detailed instructions to update Samsung Galaxy S9, S9 Plus & Note 9 to Alexis 1.3 custom ROM with One UI 2.1 to get the new Galaxy S20 features.

Step 1. First, download the One UI 2.1 update custom ROM zipped file for your Galaxy phone from the download section.

Note: Please note that there is an additional One UI fix file for Galaxy Note 9.

Step 2. Install Samsung USB Drivers on your PC and connect it using its USB data cable.

Step 3. Now, copy the downloaded files to the phone and reboot into custom recovery. In order to boot your phone into custom recovery, Power OFF your device. Now, Power it ON while pressing the Power + Bixby + Volume Up buttons at the same time until the first boot logo shows.

Step 4. While your phone is now in custom recovery, choose to install zip package and browse to the ROM file where you have copied in the above step.

Note: Please keep in mind that this ROM uses Aroma Installer so you can find various to choose from. Set it up as you like. Do not select TTS if you want Google Assistant or Bixby.

Step 5. Finally, reboot your phone once the installation completes.

Step 6. Your phone will take 15 to 20 minutes to boot up for the first time in the new system.

Note: If you are using this guide for Galaxy Note 9 then once the phone boot up, reboot into recovery, flash One UI fix package and then reboot.
