In this post, we will be discussing LineageOS for Asus ZenFone 8 and Poco X3 NFC. LineageOS is one of the most popular custom ROMs based on the Android operating system. It is an operating system for smartphone which primarily makes use of open source and free software. It is was previously known as CyanogenMod.

LineageOS provides an up to date Android experience and is popular for it’s stock Android experience. LineageOS custom ROMs are available for a lot of Android devices out there.

Instructions

Before you install the LineageOS for Asus ZenFone 8 or any of the other above mentioned devices, you should have the bootloader on your device unlocked and you also need to have a custom recovery installed, such as TWRP. Further, you should keep in mind that Google Apps (GApps) are not a part of custom ROMs, so you will also have to install GApps if you have to use them. In addition to that, do not forget to take a device backup before you install the ROM, just to be on the safe side.
