Install OxygenOS 12 Update On OnePlus Devices
If you received an OTA update and downloaded the update from within the Settings app of your device, the you can easily install the update by going to the Settings app > System > System Updates > and then tap on Install now to initiate the installation of OxygenOS 12 on your device.
But in case your device has not received the OxygenOS 12 update yet and you have downloaded the update file from the links provided above, then follow the following steps to install OxygenOS 12 update on your device:
Step 1: Download the update file from the links above according to your device and region.
Step 2: After the download is complete, proceed to File manager.
Step 3: Search for the file you downloaded and then select the file by pressing and holding.
Step 4: Now tap on the three vertical dots to view further actions.
Step 5: Tap on Cut or Copy.
Step 6: Now go to Internal Storage.
Step 7: Now paste the file in root directory of your phone. Now you can proceed to install the update in the standard way.
Step 8: Proceed to Settings.
Step 9: Head over to the System section.
