Today we’ll talk about Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1, this Samsung’s flagship Tab was recently released in March 2014, and KitKat is already available for this device too. The Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 is one of the top most tablets available in the market nowadays. It has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 Quad-Core 2.3 GHz Krait CPU, Adreno 330 GPU, and a 10.1” Super LCD Capacitive display.
KitKat 4.4.2 update (build version T520XXUANAE) is recently released for the Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1. XDA member scumpicule has managed to upload the firmware file. Here is a step by step guide that how to install KitKat 4.4.2 Firmware on Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 SM-T520.

Pre-Requirements:-
- Create a proper backup of all your important data on your device, such as internal storage, SMS, Contacts, etc
- Enable USB Debugging Option on your Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1.
- Download Odin v3.09
- Download the Firmware Package.
- Your device’s battery must be charged at least up to 70%.
How To Install KitKat 4.4.2 Firmware on Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1
1: – First of all extract the firmware package that you’ve downloaded from the above link to the desktop of your PC. You’ll get three files, the code, CSC and Modem.
2: – Now extract the Odin v3.09 zip file. Open the extracted Odin folder and launch Odin3_v3.09.exe as an Administrator to run.
3: – In Odin Tool, ensure that the two options 1. Auto Reboot and 2. F.Reset Time are checked only.
4: – Put your Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 into Download Mode. To do this first turn off your device and then press Volume Down, Home and Power buttons at the same time until warning message appeared on the screen, now press the Volume Up button to boot your Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 into Download Mode.
5: – After putting your Tab into Download Mode, connect your device to the PC via USB cable.
6: – You’ll see a message on the Odin window ID: COM port after the connection has been established successfully between your Galaxy Tab & PC. It means that your device’s drivers are installed properly.
7: – In Odin select the firmware .tar or .tar.md5 file by clicking the PDA tab.
8: – If the CSC and Modem files are available the choose the CSC file. To do this click on the CSC button and Modem file by Phone button.
9: – Now initiate the flashing process by clicking on Start button. This flashing process will take a while to be finished, and after that, your device will be automatically rebooted.
