Install Android 4.4.2 KitKat I337UCUFNB1 on AT&T Galaxy S4 SGH-I337

Now you can push the Android 4.4.2 KitKat update to the Galaxy S4 SHG-I337 as AT&T didn’t bring this update for S4 devices. The latest build, i.e., labelled I337UCUFNB1 comes with some new features, such as Galaxy Gear compatibility, Dialler app, Gallery app update, drag-and-drop feature and uninstall or disable apps, etc. according to XDA Developers.

Pre-Requirements:

  1. Make a proper backup of all your valuable data, such as SMS, MMS, internal storage, contacts, call logs, etc.
  2. Enable USB Debugging Option on your Galaxy S4.
  3. Download and install Samsung USB Drivers.
  4. Download Odin Flashing Tool v3.09.
  5. Download the Firmware Package.
  6. Your Galaxy S4’s battery must be at least charged about 70 to 80% to avoid any mishaps during the installation process.

Step No 1: First of all extract the Odin Flashing Tool that you’ve downloaded from the above link. Now launch Odin flashing tool (Odin3 v3.09.exe) as an Administrator on your PC.

Step No 2: After launching Odin Flashing Tool, ensure that only two options 1.F.Reset Time and 2.Auto Reboot are checked.

Step No 3: Boot your Galaxy S4 into Download Mode. To put your device into Download Mode, first turn it off and then press and hold the Volume Down + Home + Power buttons at the same time, until a warning screen appears. Then press the Volume up button to boot your device into Download Mode.

Step No 4: While your device is in Download Mode, connect it to your PC via its USB data cable.

Step No 5: If your device is has been successfully connected to your PC, you’ll see the ID: COM port on the top left of the Odin window, otherwise your device’s drivers are not properly installed.

Step No 6: Extract the firmware package that you’ve already downloaded from the above-given link. It will look like ALL_ATT_I337UCUFNB1_I337ATTFNB1_505595_REV06_user_low_ship_MULTI_CERT.tar.md5

Step No 7: Now click on the PDA button and select the extracted firmware package file.

Step No 8: Start the flashing process by clicking on the Start button.

9: A PASS! The message will be appeared after the flashing process completed, your device will be automatically rebooted, and you’ll get the new and updated firmware on your AT&T Galaxy S4 SGH-I337.
