Steps to Install 7.1.2 Resurrection Remix on Sony Xperia Z:

You would be able to update your Sony Xperia Z to Android 7.1.2 Resurrection Remix ROM by following simple steps of installation.

Step 1: – In the first step, you have to download 7.1.2 Resurrection Remix ROM on to your desktop.

Step 2: – Connect the Xperia Z USB memory to your desktop via USB cable.

Step 3: – In the next step just copy and paste the downloaded ROM Zip file to the root folder of the SD card on your phone.

Step 4: – Now, Turn OFF your Sony Xperia Z and remove the USB cable.

Step 5: – Turn ON the phone and boot it into the recovery mode by pressing and holding the Volume Down and Power keys at the same time.

Step 6: – In ClockworkMod Recovery, select the option of “wipe data/factory reset” using the power button.

Step 7: – In the next step, select the option of “wipe cache partition”

Step 8: – In ClockworkMod Recovery, choose the option of the advanced menu and select the option of “wipe Dalvik cache”.

Step 9: – After that go to the main recovery screen in order to select the option of “install zip from SD card”.

Step 10: – In the next step, select zip from SD card by using volume keys and navigate 7.1.2 ROM zip folder that you have already copied to the root folder of SD card. Now confirm the installation to proceed further.

Step 11: – After completing the installation process, reboot the phone by selecting the “reboot system now” from the main Recovery menu.

It might take 5 minutes to reboot your Sony Xperia Z after flashing a new ROM on your device. Now, it’s done! Your Sony Xperia Z turns into an installed Android 7.1.2 Resurrection Remix Nougat custom ROM.
