ZTE has officially released the B19 OTA update for Axon 7 in the US. This latest update is based on Android 7.1.1 Nougat and currently available in the US via OTA. Android 7.1.1 Nougat official B19 update comes with build ID A2017UV1.1.0B19 along with the latest February security patch. The Axon 7 was launched with Android Marshmallow then ZTE announced update Android 7.0 Nougat last month but ZTE has worked fast and announced very quickly Android 7.1.1 Nougat update for Axon 7. This latest update brings many new features like Wi-Fi Calling support for T-Mobile, Daydream update and optimizations, Caller ID (HIYA) update, use a wider range of gender-equal emoji and much more. ZTE rolled out the B19 official update via OTA, thus not all users can get the update at the same time. We always recommend to update your Android devices with the latest official update announced by ZTE. This official update brings lots of new features, several performance improvements and bug fixes. Pre-Requirements:
- Create a proper backup of all your existing data and settings on the phone before moving to the installation guide using a recommended custom recovery.
- Enable USB Debugging Mode on the ZTE Axon 7 by navigating to Settings > Developer Options.
- Verify that you’ve correctly installed the ZTE Axon 7 USB Drivers
- on the PC.
- Make sure that the battery level of the device is above 80% before going ahead.

Steps to update ZTE Axon 7 to Official Firmware Android 7.1.1 Nougat:
Step No 1: – First, download the Android 7.1.1 Nougat official Update file from above link and rename it to OTA.zip
Step No 2: Connect your Axon 7 with your PC/laptop.
Step No 3: – Move the Android 7.1.1 Nougat firmware files to the root folder of SD card on your phone.
Step No 4: – Power ON the device while pressing and holding the Volume Down + Power buttons at the same time.
Step No 5: – Navigate to the Recovery main menu and tap on the “Apply update” button. Select the firmware.ZIP file that you have already transferred to the root folder of your SD Card on the phone.
Step No 6: – The installation process will be initiated, so wait for the installation to be completed.
Done! You have successfully installed the Official update Android 7.1.1 Nougat on Axon 7.
