This update is packed with all new Android Oreo features along with project Treble support and it is tagged with build number OPM1.170911.213. The update is already been rolling via OTA for the devices running Android Oreo Beta-1. Many users already receiving the OTA update notification. If you own an Essential Phone with Android Oreo-1 installed then you can manually check for the update. Go to Settings –> General –> About phone. If you don’t see any update on your device, then you have to wait for few days, as the update is rolling out in phase manner, it may take a couple of weeks to reach all corners of the world. Make sure that your device is connected Wi-Fi network to avoid data charges.

Install ADB and Fastboot On Your Windows PC
Install Android Oreo Beta 2 on Essential Phone
Step 1. Open the ADB folder and launch the Command prompt window there. (shift + right click anywhere empty space within that folder and click on open command prompt here).
Step 2. Power off your device and boot your device into bootloader mode. To do this, press and hold Volume up + Power at the same time to boot into bootloader mode.
OR
You can execute the following command to boot into fastboot mode
adb reboot bootloader
Step 3. Now connect your device to your PC via USB cable and execute the following command. (This command will confirm that your device is connected to PC)
adb devices
Step 4: Execute the following command to install Android Oreo Beta 2 on Essential Phone.
adb sideload FileName.zip
Step 5: Wait until the installation completes.
Step 6: Done!
